our college GRAFFITI experiences

We always say that within life, and entertainment to be more specific there exist two types of individuals; Trend-setters and followers. Ironically, it is difficult to tell one from the next by simply looking on and judging from one's wealth, repertoire or notoriety.

Bare Jubilation, or better yet "PURE VIBES" during the college GRAFFITI experience II

One of the main purposes of this blog is to highlight the intricate details which go into each of our productions, from the idea stage straight through to the execution stage. We attempt to showcase the trends we have set, the things we were first to do, not merely to claim bragging rights. We write so the layman boy with a facebook account can have a genuine resource which offers a completely different perspective on entertainment; Trinidadian entertainment to be specific. It is our firm resolve that human society progresses at this advanced rate because we all are 95% followers of another scientific formula, philosophy or law. This is our formula, our philosophy for the college GRAFFITI experience.

What is GRAFFITI?
Graffiti (singular: graffito; the plural is used as a mass noun) is the name for images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any manner on property. Graffiti can be sometimes regarded as a form of art and other times regarded as unsightly damage or unwanted.

This is an example of Graffiti Art.
These three pieces were especially designed for Graffiti Glow 2010:

What is this GRAFFITI experience?
This GRAFFITI concept was initially mass produced to the British mainstream just about 21 Years ago, for the Annual Barcardi Graffiti Party. The first to publicly bring this Graffiti concept to the shores of Trinidad was the Fuzzy Logic committee, who hosted a party called "Graffiti, the write stuff" in Space in November 2008.

We at EEEmpire added our unique elements to the general concept of the traditional Graffiti concept, creating what we call the college GRAFFITI experience.
See more on the concept here: How we make things GLOW - The Concept
Every year when leaving secondary school to enter college, students on the last day of wearing their uniform mark to their hearts content every and anything on each other's uniforms. These marked uniforms fosilify the penultimate moments of secondary school. Our desire is to recreate this great feeling of jubilance and freedom of these events by allowing grown college students to write their own history. Tipping the skale with our unique blend of cocktails, shots and other intoxicating liquor each patron participating in the 'write up'.

Our Graffiti experience accentuates this concept putting together the following elements:
1. Body Art
Body Art Caribbean, Fraud Inc and other airbrushing companies continue to work together with The EEEmpire to add this extra element to our event.

2. Original 'Live' Graffiti Backdrops
JAP INC is our Graffiti Artist. Each year, we sponsor amazing legal GRAFFITI displays. These displays are displayed throughout the area of the event, and patrons can admire, interact and pose in front of these.

3. Markers
All added to a theme which changes every year. In 2010, Glow sticks were distributed to all patrons. This coupled with the exclusion of all artificial or natural light except 40 backlight bulbs and two 2 feet blackligt strobes created an amazing dancefloor glowing effect.
The Interactive GRAFFITI: Patrons write\draw\scribble on each other's white clothes with Markers

This is our college GRAFFITI "experience". Especially tuned to create euphoric times permanently embedded in the memories and clothes of all patrons.
